Welcome to Monkey Knife Fight's hub for DFS advice and DFS analysis and DFS Picks on NFL Season Long Player Prop Contests.
We kick off our coverage with QBs. Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Matt Ryan, Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, and Matthew Stafford
Who better to start with than 137-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady? The 44 year-old returns for his 100th season, and alongside him returns all 18 starters. This is a first in NFL history and it sets up the Buccaneers for another successful campaign.
Tom Brady's 2021 Passing Yards Projection: 4,550.5 Passing Yards
Tom Brady's 2020 Stats: 4,633 Passing Yards, 40 TDs, 12 INTs
Bucs 2020 Record: 11-5 (Won Super Bowl)
Remember when Patrick Mahomes levitated across the ground making an inconceivable throw in the Super Bowl that hit Darrell Williams in the face mask?
With an overhauled offensive line, Patrick Mahomes is sure to be protected more than the open door policy that derailed the Chiefs chances at back-to-back Super Bowl titles. Unsurprisingly, Mahomes' 2021-2022 Passing Yards projection is amongst the highest at Monkey Knife Fight.
Patrick Mahomes 2021 Passing Yards Projection: 4,999.5 Passing Yards
Patrick Mahomes 2020 Stats: 4,740 Passing Yards, 38 TDs, 6 INTs
Chiefs 2020 Record: 14-2 (Lost Super Bowl to Bucs)
Somewhat surprisingly, the Green Bay lifer will remain in Green Bay to lead the Packers. Sometimes you just have to do all the work by yourself, and 2020 NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers has always been capable of putting the entire team on his back. Fortunately, Davante Adams is joining his favorite QB in the Packers quest, and the offense provides a handful of weapons for the Bad Bad Man to target.
Aaron Rodgers 2021 Passing Yards Projection: 4,400.5 Passing Yards
Aaron Rodgers 2020 Stats: 4,299 Passing Yards, 48 TDs, 5 INTs
Packers 2020 Record: 13-3 (Lost NFC Championship to the Bucs)
Exit Julio Jones, enter Kyle Pitts! Matt Ryan has never lacked a fair share of talent to air the ball out to, and while losing arguably the best WR of the last decade to the Titans, the Falcons also have Calvin Ridley to try and fill the void that Jones left behind. Shootouts are to be expected from this years Falcons team as the defense is not projected to be near the top of the pack and the veteran Matt Ryan will aim to bounce back from one of the worse years the Falcons have had under his reign.
Matt Ryan 2021 Passing Yards Projection: 4,425.5 Passing Yards
Matt Ryan 2020 Stats: 4,581 Passing Yards, 26 TDs, 11 INTs
Falcons 2020 Record: 4-12
Entering his 4th year in the league, Josh Allen is amongst the favorites to win MVP ahead of the 2021-2022 NFL season. Allen's breakout 3rd year in the league led the Buffalo Bills to an AFC East title and an appearance in the AFC Championship game. The hype is real in Buffalo...just watch out for tables.
Josh Allen 2021 Passing Yards Projection: 4,517.5 Passing Yards
Josh Allen 2020 Stats: 4,544 Passing Yards, 37 TDs, 10 INTs
Bills 2020 Record: 13-3 (Lost AFC Championship to Chiefs)
Matthew Stafford is suiting up for the Los Angeles Rams and there's more questions surrounding the veteran QB than ever before. The former Lions gunslinger teamed up with Sean McVay in the offseason, and the Rams Super Bowl hopes shift from Jared Goff's shoulders to Stafford's.
Matthew Stafford 2021 Passing Yards Projection: 4500.5 Passing Yards
Matthew Stafford 2020 Stats: 4,084 Passing Yards, 26 TDs, 10 INTs
Rams 2020 Record: 10-6 (Lost NFL Divisional Round to Packers)
